James (Jim) owner of Clarke Kitchens; leading kitchen company based in Congleton in the heart of Cheshire. Even from a young age Jim had a passion for wood work, which ignited his creativity and drive. After leaving school, he honed his skills and acquired the necessary qualifications, by working in a cabinet making company. There he gained endless hands- on experience from highly skilled craftsmen creating and installing quality bespoke kitchens. Jim’s dedication and talent, ultimately led him to a remarkable opportunity working in the wood shop for luxury car brand Bentley Motors in Crewe, for an impressive 14 years. This helped to refine his expertise ensuring a high level of quality, precision and skill. Now armed with a wealth of experience and ability, Jim channels his talents into his own venture; creating truly one-of-a-kind handmade kitchens
Barb is our in-house Designer and Project Manager; she has a background in business, teaching and Interior design. A talented designer specialising in Kitchen and bedroom furniture design. With her keen eye for detail and a passion for helping clients bring their visions to life. Barb is dedicated to capturing each client’s unique style and translating it into stunning kitchen designs. She thrives on innovative ideas and is adept at finding practical solutions to ensure functionality meets aesthetics. In addition to her design expertise, Barb excels in project management, seamlessly coordinating with other trades and professionals to ensure smooth and successful project execution. With Barb’s guidance, clients can trust that their kitchen design dreams will be realised with individuality, precision and style.
Theo is the newest member to join the team. He is our avid and ambitious apprentice, eagerly joining the business with a clear goal in mind; to immerse himself in the art of joinery and woodworking, whilst pursuing his qualifications. Guided by his mentor, Jim, Theo is determined to learn the craft to the highest standard. With a thirst for hands-on experience, he actively engages in every aspect of the process. His dedication and willingness to learn from Jim’s expertise make him a valuable asset to the team. As he progresses through his apprenticeship, his commitment will ensure that he will become a skilled cabinet maker in his own right, ready to contribute his talents to the business and the craft.
